To qualify as a Veterinary Nurse our nurses have had to complete an exacting 2-year training process which includes formal study at an approved college, exams and the production of a portfolio of work they have undertaken whilst training.

Claire Tinlin RVN: Claire joined the practice in 1996 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse. In1998 she gained her Veterinary Nursing Qualification.She has a keen interest in the training of Veterinary Nurses and has since gained her TBIL D32/33 Assessor Award, enabling her to assess student Veterinary Nurses.

Kate Leworthy DipAVN(surg) RVN A1: Head Nurse at Charter Vets Roundswell. Kate joined the practice in 1999 as a student veterinary nurse at Mullacott Veterinary Hospital. In 2003 she gained her veterinary Nursing qualification. Kate has a keen interest in surgical nursing and in 2009 Kate gained her Diploma Advanced Veterinary Nursing (surgical). Kate is currently studying for a further qualification in anaesthesia and critical care.
Corrina Adams RVN Head Nurse Mullacott Veterinary Hospital. Corina joined the practice in December 2002 as a student nurse and qualified in April 2006. In January 2008 Corina become head nurse. She enjoys the variety and challenges of working with the wide range of species seen.
