Our Team - Veterinary Nurses

To qualify as a Veterinary Nurse our nurses have had to complete an exacting 2-year training process which includes formal study at an approved college, exams and the production of a portfolio of work they have undertaken whilst training.

Charter Veterinary Hospital Nursing Team

	Claire Tinlin VN: Head Nurse Bridge House & Charter Veterinary Hospital Claire joined the practice in 1996 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse. In 1998 she gained her Veterinary Nursing Qualification. She has a keen interest in the training of Veterinary Nurses and has since gained her TBIL D32/33 Assessor Award, enabling her to assess student Veterinary Nurses. Claire is currently undertaking the RCVS/BVNA Diploma in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (medical).

	Heather Barrable VN: Head Nurse Mullacott Veterinary Hospital After an interesting work experience placement at Mullacott Veterinary Hospital in 1989, Heather knew she wanted to pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing. She secured a placement at Mullacott after leaving school in July 1990. In 1994 she gained her Veterinary Nurse Qualification. Heather continued to develop her nursing skills, enjoying the variety in the mixed Equine and Small Animal Hospital. She enjoys training and assessing student nurses using the D32/33 Assessor qualification obtained in July 2000. Heather is currently on Maternity Leave.
