Pets Introduction

We offer a service for pets and their owners at each of our five sites. Our  Two RCVS accredited Small Animal Veterinary Hospitals at Charter Veterinary Hospital , Roundswell and Mullacott Veterinary Hospital Ilfracombe have facilities that meet stringent standards and are regularly inspected by Royal College Of Veterinary Surgeons to continue to receive hospital accreditation.

We have three further clinics, two in Barnstaple (Bridge House & St Johns Veterinary Clinic ) and Braunton ( South Street Veterinary Surgery ). To find details of the location closest to you and information on surgery opening times, please click here

Our small animal team has access to a wide range of modern diagnostic tools with in-house laboratories, digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, electrocardiography, arthroscopy and visiting MRI. We take pride in offering quality general veterinary care and advice alongside the ability to provide intensive care facilities staffed by our skilled and dedicated nursing team for our more seriously ill patients.

Our surgical referral service not only provides care for “Charter Pets”, but helps resolve orthopaedic and neurological challenges for other vets referring animals from across the south west.

We have a day time animal ambulance to enable patients to be moved between sites in order to receive the best care for their needs.
