Project Description
Charter Vets was one of the first practices in the UK to offer digital radiography and it can be used to assess a wide range of illnesses. It is mostly used for looking at bone problems, but is used extensively to check for problems within the chest and abdomen as well.
The benefit of digital radiography is the speed in which the radiograph is visible to the vet; this has a huge benefit as it reduces the time your pet is under anaesthetic.
Endoscopy cameras – enable us to look directly inside the intestinal tract and airway to assess changes, take biopsies and sometimes retrieve foreign objects
Arthroscopy cameras – allow us to look inside joints, investigating and treating lameness
At Charter Vets, we share and back up images between our sites and can copy fracture repairs views into going home forms for owners and into reports for referring vets.

Digital radiography and endoscopy
We use the latest technology to provide safer, more efficient imaging services.
Ultrasonography
We use special scanners to carry out detailed examinations without general anaesthesia.
ECG and heart monitoring
Enabling us to assess and monitor heart rhythms by measuring electrical impulses.
