Project Description
No matter how thorough our vets are, some diagnoses require more than just a physical examination alone. That’s why we can use special ultrasound scanners, which enable us to carry out detailed examinations of internal organs without the need for general anaesthesia.
Routine ultrasound
Non-invasive investigations and monitoring of heart, chest and abdominal disorders. Ultrasound can often be more sensitive to the detection of abdominal masses than radiography. Studies can often be done in the conscious patient. We usually just have
to clip a small area of hair over the area under investigation.
Specialist ultrasound and doppler echocardiography
Imaging referrals are available as part of our surgical referral service or referral imaging only with reporting by Nicolette Hayward BVM&S DVR DipECVDI MRCVS RCVS & European Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Specialist.

Digital radiography and endoscopy
We use the latest technology to provide safer, more efficient imaging services.
Ultrasonography
We use special scanners to carry out detailed examinations without general anaesthesia.
ECG and heart monitoring
Enabling us to assess and monitor heart rhythms by measuring electrical impulses.
